I want this to be a place where I can keep family and friends better updated on what me and my family is up to on a day to day basis or even a week to week basis. I hope you all can come back and check my blog every now and again and be able to better know what's going on in my life even if I don't get to see you all that often. 2010 Resolutions

Been meaning to do this and was reminded when I read my friends Jane's blog of resolutions. My resolutions are:

~To not forget people's birthdays and to send out cards on holidays.
~To get back into shape.
~Eat healthier.

There's many more things I want to make sure I do but if I list every little thing then I probably won't keep any of my resolutions and I think if I stick to the three I listed then the rest of my goals will come along with those. If that makes sense.

I am horrible at forgetting people's birthdays and sending out cards and what not on holidays. I want to try to send people cards at the very least on their birthdays to show people that 1. I remember and 2. that I care enough to atleast send a card. I think it means more to people then people let on.

I have been talking about getting into shape for over a year now. Trapper keeps telling me to just do it, find something that I think will work for me and just do that. He tells me to quit talking about and just do something about it, in a nice way of course. And I completely agree with him, it's one thing to say I'll do it but it's a completely different story to actually do it. I just need to set a "sort of" schedule for daily activities and jsut stick to it. I did for a few months last year and it showed results and I just got lazy again. I need to just keep going and eventually it'll just be habit.

I try to eat healthy anyways but I decided I need to really just cut a few things out and stick to that. I am not drinking soda at all anymore and no more energy drinks either. I am also going to give up buying my hershey chocolate kisses all the time. We plan to all around change our eating habits when we get to Oregon, eat healthier, cook healthier. That's something me and Trapper talked about the other day. More fresh veggies and fruits. We don't have alot of snacks in our house as it is but we're gonna make it so when the kids want to snack that it's on something healthy. Kenzie loves her junk food if she can get it. Going to ween her off that while we can. Once in awhile is fine and we're gonna keep it that way. So the eating healthier is just an all around good idea for the whole family.

So those are my three resolutions. Hopefully I when we go home in February I can be a little more skinnier and not look like a frumpy housewife lol.
