Day 12

12. Bullet your whole day

  • Wake myself and Kenzie up (on a school day)
  • Get a cup of coffee
  • Watch Phineas and Ferb
  • Tell Kenzie to eat and get ready for school
  • After Kenzie leaves for school I watch a little news with my dad (staying with him at the moment)
  • Head downstairs where our room is so see if Trap is awake
  • If Trap isn't awake then I'll cross stitch and watch reruns of Criminal Minds or CSI Miami
  • Take a small break and take the dogs outside, take my camera with just in case
  • Wash dishes if nobody has already
  • Help with my niece if my stepmom needs help
  • Help Kenzie with school work if it's something I can help with (math is Traps area lol)
  • Help with dinner if needed
  • Watch some of my shows if their on tv with Trap
  • Go to bed
That's the jist of it lately. Have 2 months until Jace is born so I haven't been doin a whole lot of walking with Jack cause it's sorely hurts my lower back. When we have the money we'll go for rides every now and then. Here soon I'll show Trapper more around the Duluth area.

Day 11

11. Put your Ipod (in my case iphone) on shuffle and write first 10 songs that pop up.

So I don't really have an Ipod so I can't do this day. We do  have a Zune but it doesn't list the 10 songs that pop  up, I'd have to listen to em all and I don't much feel like music at the moment.

I will, however, update for anyone reading this.

We moved to Minnesota a few weeks ago to be near my family for when Jace is born. Mainly so we could easier get back on our feet though. The economy is terrible but it's extra large terrible in Oregon it seems. So we're going to try a new route and hopefully it works out. Trapper has already gotten one interview with a security company and is just waiting to hear back about a 2nd interview. Hopefully it pans out for him, I think it would be really good for him. Kenzie is struggling in school a little because this school district seems to at a much higher standard of learning then her old school but she's catching on pretty fast. Jack, our dog, is doing awesome. He hasn't had to be on a leash at all since we got here. My parents live on a few acres of land and have a retriever and to toy yorkies so he has friends to play with outside. He's doing really great at not leaving the yard at all. He loves all the space he has to run around and scouting out where deer have been during the evenings.

Will write more soon and post photos when I can make it to an internet cafe cause my parents only have cell phone internet so I don't want to upload anything on their dime.

Day 9

9. If you would have any job in the world what would it be?

Honestly, I would love to be a zoologist or a marine biologist. Both careers have always fascinated me but I never thought I was smart enough to go to school for any of those, now I feel I'm getting older and there's not much time for that kind of schooling. Two very interesting career fields though. I'd LOVE to work in a zoo, who wouldn't lol.

Day 6

6. Zodiac Sign and Does It Fit? (The red color is my thoughts on the different areas of being a scorpio.)

Scorpio

Your element: Water

Your ruling planets: Pluto

Symbol: The Scorpion

Your stone: Topaz

Life Pursuit: To survive against all opposition (I would say I'm a survivor, I've come back thru alot of things in my life, the most semi-recent was my husbands deployment in 07-08.)
Vibration: Resilient (Definately resilent, sometimes it takes me awhile but I've never been one to regress backwards.)
Scorpio's Secret Desire: To triumph (For sure, I try to come out on top with anything I do, sometimes I fail but from that I learn.)
Description:
Reputed to be the "most powerful" sign of the zodiac, Scorpios lead fate filled lives and have intense and dramatic personal relationships. Even as children Scorpios are often found to be wise beyond their years. Many astrologers call this the sign of the "oldest souls". Old and wise beyond the average, Scorpios often know all the answers, except sometimes; they too often have difficulty finding what they need to develop their own happiness. (I am by no means wise, never thought about myself as older then my years and I definately don't know all the answers lol. Difficulty developing my own happiness, definately. I find it hard to decide on what I know will make my happy. Only thing that I didn't have a hard time deciding on was marrying my husband.)
Passion, desire and power go hand in hand for Scorpios. Their biggest challenge and test in life is choosing between the power of love and the love of power. Coming to grips with their extraordinary emotional depths and sensitivity isn't easy for those around them. They are different from all other zodiac signs and this difference has them walking, working and loving to a different beat. Others can often live with a Scorpio partner for years, but not really know them. Much to do with a Scorpio remains ever secret. Their eyes often blaze with feelings that words never express, and beware on the days or nights they hide their feelings behind dark glasses, there is likely to be a storm of some kind brewing. When you deal with a Scorpio you have to always deal with them on a psychic intuitive level. They often wear a mask. Too often they say "no" when they really mean "yes". They have contrary natures. Once they find true love they can be the most faithful dedicated of all partners but fall out badly with a Scorpio and you are likely to find they will never forget or forgive. (This actually fits me pretty good. I'm a very emotional person, not to the point where I cry over everything but things do get to me on a higher level then most around me. There is often times where my husband will be trying to find out what's wrong with me when he knows I'm upset cause he can see it written in my face, it'll take me awhile to talk but when I do it usually comes pouring out cause I tend to harbor things.)
Most Scorpios are winners. The main thing they have to worry about is their attitudes, which make up their mind powers and can either make or break them. When they are negative about something or someone, or critical of themselves, they can tend to get in their own way. (This is me to a "T" lol. I do tend to have an attitude especially when I think and know I'm right and people argue with me about it. I can also have a negative attitude sometimes when things aren't looking the way I want them too. I'm trying really hard to change this. I am also very, very, very critical of myself. I'm my own worst critic at times.)
Scorpios operate on three levels of soul evolvement; adding up to three distinctively different types of Scorpios. The first level is the Scorpion. This is the least evolved and most drawn toward using their powers the wrong way. The criminal element of Scorpio comes under this level. Then there is the eagle - the highflying, entrepreneurial, successful Scorpio, who seems able to rise above adversity and transform bad-times into good. Then the highest expression of this sign is the Phoenix Resurrected. These Scorpios are detached and extremely powerful. They are wise beyond their years and act as leaders and are an inspiration to others. Quite frequently a Scorpio goes through the three levels of evolvement in one lifetime - but the levels can operate out of sequence. (Don't think I fall into any of the these levels of scorpios. I'm not a criminal, not really entrepreneurial. I do like to take bad times and make them into good times, my husband has helped me with that. Detached is definately something I am, but I've worked on that alot since I married my husband.)

5 Question Friday

1. What's your favorite way to spend down time (alone or with a significant other)?

My favorite down time activity is definately cross stitching.

2. Are you the kind of person that wants things more as soon as you know you can't have it?

No not really. I don't really worry about things I can't have, what's the point really. I just concentrate on ways I can obtain things I can have.

3. If you were given $1000 to spend on yourself, what would you buy?

I would like to buy a external hard drive to save my photos on. I would get the tattoo I want in memory of my Grandpa Harvey. I would then buy the camera that I want. And with the remaining I would buy some new clothes.

4. Do you ever go out to eat by yourself?

Nope never have and don't really want to, doesn't sound like something I would enjoy. I'd rather eat and have a good conversation.

5. What company would you want to do a blog review for?

Wouldn't want to really.

Day 4

4. Views on Religion

I am by no means religious. I really don't think I believe in God one way or the other. I don't get into religious conversations ever because I just don't really see or believe what religious people would like me to believe. Do I think theres something bigger then us...yes...but what that is I'm not sure. I don't think I need to put a label on it. I don't need some million dollar expensive building to go pray in. And I don't like it one bit when someone tries to push their beliefs on me. If I wanted to believe in one God or someone's elses God then I would have by now. People will ask me, "what about the afterlife or where your soul goes after you die?" Honestly, when I die, I die. I don't really believe in some big mystical afterlife or rebirth or whatever. So yah that's pretty much my views. Some people may not like it and that's fine but it's my views and my right to feel this way.

Day 2

2. Where would I like to be in 10 years

Exactly a pretty easy answer to that one, although a bit detailed lol.

We would love to be home owners, hopefully in the next year or two. I'm hoping to own a house in Colorado about 20 miles or so outside of Colorado Springs in Woodland Park. I would love for our house to be on about 5 acres of land, maybe 10. Own a horse or two, some pigmy goats, some chickens, maybe get Jack a new playmate. I would also love to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Medical Administration and get certified as a Pharmacy Tech and would love to get a career started in the medical field. I would also love to get some semblance of resemblance to my pre-marriage body. When I met my husband I was in so much better shape. I think all these are fairly obtainable so I don't see why in 10 years that I won't have all this and more :)

Day 1 of Blog Challenge

Day 1: Current Relationship

I am married to a totally awesome man. His name is Earl but everyone calls him Trapper or Trap. Our 6th Anniversary will be on July 31st and in all the time we've been married I have never once called him Earl lol. He is by far the greatest man I know (along with my dad of course lol). We're opposites in so many ways but in ways that compliment each other and keep each other on their toes and it keeps things interesting. He's a very forth coming personality, he will tell you exactly what he thinks without any hesitation what so ever. He's stubborn, funny, a bit cocky at times, generous, beyong extremely smart (I call him my walking book of knowledge). He's a great dad and is about to be a new dad May 25th and this time he gets a little boy. I always tell him that I married him because he can be an asshole but he nevers crosses that line but in all reality I married him because of that and because of all the reasons above and so much more then I could ever list. He's medically retired from the Army after 11 years of service. He got injured while deployed to Iraq in 07 and 08. He's about 90% disable, can't tell by looking at him, it's all internal. He hardly ever complains and is actually doing quite well compared to 2 years ago. You couldn't find a more proud wife then me :) He is also a fantastic cook, he has way more culintary skills then the average person lol. He's helped me become a better person. I'm more open then I used to be, not quite as shy and he's taught me to stick up for myself instead of being a door mat. I could keep going on about my husband believe me but you get the drift I think :)

Me and Trap shortly before we got married in 2006.

Trapper laughing at me on the ferris wheel last summer cause I looked over the edge and freaked myself out and grabbed for that metal bar in the middle of the seats lol.

Went fishing at Sheridan Pond and he managed to catch a fish with my brand spankin new pink fishing pole lol.

This was taken this past Christmas, Kayleen put her scarf on dad and he lets me take silly photos of him so yah lol.

He was teaching Kenzie how to throw a baseball, she's actually pretty good when she actually tries lol.

Went out to a bar for a past co-workers birthday, he's the one with the belly showing and then my husband decided he would go around dancing with everyone, luckily I bring my camera everywhere I go lol

Day 30 I made it!!!!

Day 30: a picture of yourself this day and 5 good things that happened since you started the challenge:

This wasn't taken today but it was taken just under a week ago when my brother in law got promoted to E7. From left to right: Myself, my husband Trapper, my brother in law Jason, my sister in law Lynn, my nephew Kyle (Jason's son) and my oldest daughter in the front MacKenzie (who I realized is almost as tall as I am and she's only 10 lol)

5 Good things that happened to me since I started this:

1. I haven't gained that much weight since becoming pregnant, just a fairly normal amount.
2. I started taking photos again (I had quit right after my daughters dog was killed in Nov.)
3. I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas that got me to reading a lot more.
4. I started a cross stitch and am almost half way done with it which isn't normal for me, I usually take a year to finish one.
5. I realized that I need to call my family more seeing as most of them live in Minnesota.

And that looks like it's the end of my 30 Day Challenge. I'm going to go hunt for another one. I do enjoy blogging everyday but my life isn't exciting every single day so finding challenges keeps me blogging and gets me thinking and helps me to write more on here. It's almost therapeutic and relaxing so I'd need to keep this up lol.

Sad Day

Found out my favorite Grandpa died today. He had pneumonia twice this month and just didn't have it in him to fight this time. He was in his early 80s so it's not like he didn't live a long life, I just wish I could  have seen him more, that he could have gotten to know Trapper better and that he could have met Jace. He told some of the greatest stories I've ever heard. He was the reason I went into the military. When they had decided to move to Montana when I was 16, me and my cousin Micheal went with them and spent 2 weeks with them, then I went again to visit them the next summer. When I was 19 and I got out of the Air Force I went to live with them for awhile. My grandpa was a great man, he will be very  much missed. I'm so glad that I have one photo of me, Grandma and Grandpa together the day I turned 21. I hope he knew that I loved him and he was and will always be one of my favorite people.

Day 28

Day 28: Something that stresses you out

A few things lately. One, being finances, not being able to save enough to move out of my mother in laws before the baby arrives. Hoping taxes is enough. Also stressing about the fact that we don't have any baby stuff yet, mostly cause we can't save very much. Trapper tells me not to worry that we'll get everything he needs before he arrives and I'm really trying. And as of yesterday I'm really stressed and worried about my Grandma that lives in Montana. I found out my Grandpa is in the hospital, has been since Monday. He's had pneomonia twice this past month and she's not sure he'll make it this time. He has a tube down his throat last time I heard. The one saving grace is I know she  has alot of family coming to be with her right now so I know atleast someone is watching out for her. I just wish I could be there right now.

Day 26

Day 26: Your Dream Wedding

On a beach or next to a lake, a white and red colored dress, all the girls in little red dresses and immediate family attending only. I don't want anything major or huge or extravagant, just something simple and intimate to renew our vows since we didn't really get to have the wedding we wanted.

5 Question Friday

1. How often do you shave your legs in the winter?

Honestly, maybe once a week, sometimes twice.

2. Valentine's Day cards for your spouse: funny or romantic?

I tend to go for the funny ones, I'll do sappy ones randomly thru out the year.

3. What are you most looking forward to about spring?

FISHING!!!! We absolutely love fishing and can not wait get our license again. Soon as we get our taxes we're getting our license and a few fishing supplies and off we go :)

4. What's your favorite way to pamper yourself?

I love to grab a coffee from Dutch Brothers and go somewhere really beautiful and take photos, sounds silly to some but if you knew me you'd understand me and my camera lol.

5. Does your tax return go into savings or do you spend it instantly?

We don't spend it instantly, over time..yes. We save some as long as we can, keep a good nest egg for awhile but this year we have a baby to prepare for so it's gonna be gone pretty fast, also need to move out of my mother-in-law's house asap.

Day 24

Day 24: Something you've learned

I've learned that when it rains it pours. Not gonna get into specifics but life just hasn't been easy the past few months and I just wish we could catch a damn break. I'm not sure what lesson we're supposed to be learning right now but it's kicking my ass. Starting to slip into a slump right now and I'm not sure how to get out of it. I'm trying to be a more positive person this year but honestly it's really proving to be the hugest challenge I've had to face yet.

This is me and my now daughter MacKenzie, she was about 3 years old in this. I took this pic myself. Actually caught a very natural and cute photo of me and my daughter back in my slightly younger days lol. Not sure really why it's my favorite but some photos just stand out and you constantly go back to just look at it cause you absolutely love it.

Day 20

Day 20: Nicknames
I don't really have any nicknames anymore. When I was in the Air Force at 19 years old I had the nickname Cookie or Minnesota (thats where I grew up). Growing up I did have an aunt that called me bird, so did my dad. That's about it. My husband has a nickname that he's been called his whole life. His real name is Earl but he has an aunt that had a crush on Trapper John from MASH so my hubby's nickname since he was born has been Trapper so people usually call him Trapper or Trap. We've been married 6 years in July and I never have called him Earl lol.

Day 19

Day 19: Something you miss

Two things I really miss.

One: I miss my family in Minnesota. It's been about 4 years, going on 5 since I've been back to Minnesota to see my dad, stepmom and my sisters. It's super expensive to travel anymore so it's hard to plan trips like that. The 1st two years we were in Colorado and Trapper wasn't alowd to travel because he was outprocessing for his Army retirement. The last 2 years or so we just haven't been able to afford it. This summer we're really hoping to get to Minnesota after the baby is born.

Two: We really miss being in the Army. I miss the whole life style, the bases, seeing soldiers in their uniforms, seeing Army vehicles driving around post. It was a fun life style and something to be extremely proud of.

5 Question Friday

1. What have you done recently that you are proud of?
I'm working on a cross stitch for my hubby's oldest daughter and I got about a 1/4 of it done in the last week. It's rare that I can get this much done on a cross stitch lol

2. What is your favorite way to work out? Or if you don't workout, what are you wanting to try?
I love to work out at a fitness center with and mp3 player or radio. If I'm at home I like to exercise with music on.

3. If you knew you best friend was cheating on spouse would you tell?
Wow, I'm not sure. Until I've been in the situation where I had to make a decision like that I can speculate all day long on what I would do. I don't even think I can give the right decision. Yah I could tell but is that putting my nose where it doesn't belong. I think I would talk to my best friend and tell her she needed to talk to her hubby, be honest and tell him what was going on. If your going to cheat then you should atleast tell your spouse or leave before you cheat, nobody should cheat on their spouse period.

4. If you could afford a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?
Nope, neither one is gonna do things the way I want things done, I'm to picky with cleaning and on how I think people should treat my children.

5. Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?
I enjoy birthdays, why stress out, it's suppose to be a happy, fun day, enjoy it!!

Bonus: Lights off or on?
If we're talking during adult time, lights are usually off, once I get back into shape they they'll by on or candles lit.

Day 17

Day 17: Something you're looking forward to

Three things I'm really looking forward to in the next few months.

One: Really looking forward to getting thing set up for Jace's arrival at the end of May. It's super exciting for us cause even though we have 3 girls between us, Jace will be the 1st and last baby we created between us. Wasn't something we planned but I'm so incredibly happy that it happened. We get to go buy him stuff and get ready for a baby we never thought we'd have.

Two: Looking foward to the arrival of baby Jace :) Can't wait to meet what will surely be Trapper's mini-me :) Super excited for the girls to meet him too cause their all pretty excited, so far lol

Three: The baby shower we plan on having 4th of July weekend. Hopefully my dad and stepmom will be up for this one so they can meet Jace. My mom and sister Michaela will be there, my bestest friend Jane and her family will be up and a good friend of ours Kelly from Canada will be up. Hopefully more family members I don't see often so up that weekend but if not I'm excited to see the people I listed above and can't wait to see them all.

Day 16

Day 16: Dream house
I've had this dream house in my head ever since I was a teenger. It's to be built on atleast 5 acres of land. The outside I want to look log cabin like. The inside is where my big ideas come into play. The whole upstairs I want to be loft like. At one end of the house I want our master bedroom with the end wall being windows with a hall way going down both lengths of the house to the other end of the house where our office/reading room will be, all of this over looking into the downstairs. The kitchen will be black tiling with cherry cabinets, have an island in the middle with a small bar the kids could sit at, this giving you the ability to see all around the house. Then have like 3 bedrooms downstairs with a few bathrooms. Lots of windows everywhere. It would be the most open looking house on the inside. But thats my dream house.

Day 15

Day 15: Bible verse

I don't really have a bible verse I like seeing as I'm completely not religious at all so I've never read the bible and I don't plan to. I do have a favorite prayer, that's about as religious as I get.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Day 14

Day 14: A picture of you last year - how have you changed?

This is why I don't do photos lol. This is me and my oldest, MacKenzie. My mom had just moved into a new house out of our house and I came over to show her a new camera Trapper had gotten for me. I haven't changed all that much except I am now 5 1/2 months pregnant so I have a half a backetball look to my stomach right now lol. My hair hasn't changed except I did cut it right below my shoulders after this photo was taken, even Kenzie's hair is shorter now. But yah not much has changed except being pregnant.

Day 13

Day 13: Goals

These are goals I put in my blog a few days ago not realizing it would be on my 30 day challenge but that's okay. This way I'll have it imprinted in my head lol. I figure if I set reasonable goals, some easy and some not so easy. I'm more likely to reach these goals if I don't put to much on myself.

1. Just applied for admission to Chemeketa for the fall quarter, just need to make sure everything gets submitted before the deadline to get into those classes.

2. Get into a swim program at the Dallas Aquatic Center sometime in February to do water aerobics for pregnant woman.

3. Me and Trapper are going to start using a gym and walking more, maybe even running after Jace is born, so that means getting back into shape like I was when me and Trapper met.

4. Finish Kayleen's b-day present before March 23rd, a cross stitch project of Starry Nights.

5. Start a new cross stitch project for Jace after I finish Kayleen's.

6. Get a sewing machine and learn to sew. And also learn to crochet after I do Jace's cross stitch project.

Gonna start with those, some are simple and some or long range all through the year. Pretty manageable I think, which is always my problem. I set goals that are much to big and I end up not doing them.

5 Question Friday

1. Do you swim in the winter?

Not unless I hit up the aquatic center or a fitness center but that hasn't happened in years, hopefully after the baby is born though.
2. Do you love or hate winter?

I love winter if it's snowy, we don't get much snow here in Oregon so it's not as enjoyable of a winter but what can yah do.
3. Do you put makeup/actual clothes on when you know you're going to be home all day with just family?

I don't wear makeup what so ever so no on that one. Most days I'll get dressed but not all dressed up like I'm goin somewhere.
4. How old were you when you had your first alcoholic beverage?

I was 18 I think but I never got drunk until I was 21.
5. How many ill calls in a 12 month period do you think are acceptable?

I think one or two is acceptable especially if you have children, otherwise I pride myself on not missing work anymore then I have to, when I have a job that is.

2012 Goals

Going to take a clue from my friend Jane and set some goals for myself. Maybe if I call them goals instead of resolutions I might just get them done lol.

1. Just applied for admission to Chemeketa for the fall quarter, just need to make sure everything gets submitted before the deadline to get into those classes.

2. Get into a swim program at the Dallas Aquatic Center sometime in February to do water aerobics for pregnant woman.

Day 10

Day 10: Something you're afraid of

Most everyone that knows me knows what my biggest fear is...spiders...I absolutely  hate spiders. If it's reasonably small I'll kill it but if it's anything bigger then a nickle then I won't go in the room and I'll have someone else kill it unless I'm alone then I'll summon all courage available and kill the little fucker lol. It literally makes me gage if I have to kill a spider, so freakin gross. We did catch at black widow once and I took photos of it but it was in a sealable container it couldn't get out of so I was good there lol. Spiders are a discusting insect.

Day 8

Day 8: A place you've traveled to

Favorite place I've traveled to so far, believe it or not, was to Fort Riley, Kansas. This was Trapper's first duty station when we went active duty Jan of 2007. We lived in a duplex outside of Fort Riley in a small college town, Manhattan, Kansas. Fort Riley is a pretty awesome base. Right before Trapper came home from his deployment I moved on into base housing. It had to have been the cleanest base that I've run across. The PX wasn't that big but the commesary was awesome. Kenzie did great while she was in school there. I took her to a zoo a few hours outside of Manhattan. Had quite a few parks that I could go do my photography and Kenzie could play. Their mall was pretty nice too, not overly large but was still fun to go to. I remember it being the best time we had while Trap was active duty.

5 Question Friday

1. Where do you hide the reeeally good snacks?

I actually don't need to hide my snacks, Trapper and the girls pretty much know what snacks are mine, considering I don't snack alot it's not hard to remember lol If they see caramello bars anywhere in the house everyone knows their mine lol

2. Do u keep your vehicle clean or am I the only one who has things falling out of their van?

My vehicle is fairly clean, right now it's a little dirty considering we take Jack everywhere, and there's some garbage in the back seat that the lovely girls get to clean next time they come down to visit so that way all 3 girls are cleaning up their mess at the same time lol

3. Have you ever been to Vegas?

Nope but hopefully this summer, althought I'd much rather go to Reno. Trapper says it's way better, plus I wanna go to Hot August Nights at the end of summer.

4. Warm room light blankets or cold room warm snuggly blanket?

Either or really. If it's warmer then I'll use a thinner blanket. If it's colder then I'll use a big soft blanket. If there's one thing we aren't lacking in our house, it's blankets lol

5. What is the worst airplane/flying experience you've ever had?

Can't say I've ever had one. I've only flown somewhere like maybe 4 times in my life time so far. Only part I didn't like was when I was flying from Minneapolis to Duluth, Minnesota. Small plane so you could feel all the bumps from wind currents but I don't have a queasy stomach so I maintained lol.

Day 4

Day 4: Your parents

My parents...I'll start with my mom. My mom is a great person, I think she's a bit misguided and unorganized in most areas of her life but she's been there for me when I needed someone. She was there when Kenzie was born, while Trapper was deployed for examples. I just wish she would get her stuff together, she kind of bounces around alot. I really haven't needed anyone but my husband around since we got married, just when he was deployed because I wasn't sure how to handle it. Kenzie loves her grandma and misses her, she moved to Nevada to be with my sister. She does have like 3 degrees in various law careers, such as legal secretary and criminal justice, she's mostly done with a bachelors but hasn't finished it. Hoping she'll jump back into that down in Nevada but who knows. She was also the one that told me from the beginning of my pregnancy that I was having a boy, and she was totally right :)

My dad is one of the nicest, sweetest men I know. He's a great guy. He owns his own heating and air conditioning business in Minnesota. He lives out in the country outside of Duluth with my step-mom, sister Roxanne and my niece Jenna along with their 3 dogs and cat lol. He's an avid golfer, bowls on a bowling league, quit smoking a few years back. We use to be on archery leagues when I was teenager, one of the best times I remember from my childhood growing up. ALong with camping at Pathfinder Village in Hinkley, MN. He absolutley loves his grandchildren and is so looking forward to the grandson due in May.

My step-mom has been one the best step-parents to ever walk this planet. She was great influence growing up. She's not the best at keeping secrets but not alot of people are lol. She's always been there when I needed someone to talk to, very smart woman. She used to work with developmental disabled adults but quit a few months back to help take care of my niece while my sister goes to work. I guess it got to where she didn't like going to work so she's going to take some time off and spend it with her grandbabies. She's also an avid golfer and bowls with my dad. She's also been very very good at scrabble, drives me nuts if I play her lol.

Day 3

Day 3: Your first love

If we're talking about something or someone that was complete love at first site, I would have to say the day I gave birth to my daughter. The pregnancy was an oops but she definately wasn't. On occasion I'd like to adopt her out but she's become a great little girl and I don't regret deciding to keep her even though I ended up being a single mom for over 3 years before I met my husband. She was the easiest baby to take care of, she definately has a different personality then me, she doesn't have one shy bone in her body, she's gonna be hella tall for a girl I think, she's an avid reader like me and my mom but gettin her read one book at a time has become a battle for sure lol. Today she is 10 years old, my baby hit the double didgets Dec. 23rd. Now she's going to be a big sister and loves the idea, completely obsessed with my stomach these days lol. I can't wait to see what she becomes when she's all grown up :)

Day 2

Day 2: Meaning behind your blog name

Anyone that knows me and my obsession with watching Will Ferrell movies will totally know what the title of my blog means lol. I absolutely love his movies, my fav is Step Brothers and right behind that one is The Other Guys. I think this man is a comedic genius. I love how quotable his movies are. And I love how I can go back in forth with my husband or my best friend Jane with Will Ferrell movie quotes, always makes me laugh and people need to laugh more often then they do.

Baby Bragging

Just wanted to write a little something about the pregnancy so far. Totally lovin bein pregnant, most of the time lol. I also love the fact that this time around it's happening with my husband. I was a single mom with Kenzie. Me and Trapper had decided like 2 months before I got pregnant that we we're done, aparently there were other plans for us :) Trapper is one of those husbands that I think most women would love to have around during a pregnancy. He helps me to keep on track with eating and drinking the right things, encourages me to get out and do stuff instead of staying home. He also surprises me because when you meet him some people see him as hard around the edges, which he totally is and I love that about him so in a way it surprises when I wake up in the middle of the night I'll have him sleeping behind me with his hand on my stomach or like last night when I was goin to bed, he gave me a hug and kiss and I know when I hug him now you can feel my stomach so then he started rubbin the baby bump I have goin now and then kissed my belly and told Jace he loves him. It was pretty cute. One of those moments that makes your heart happy.

Nite at the Rabbit Hole

So last night a friend of mine, Dora, talked me into going out for someone's b-day that I used to work with, well everyone there except me, my husband and Dora's date were people I used to work with. Well it's was a friend of mine, Gary's b-day. Went out to this bar in Dallas called the Rabbit Hole. Bullshitted for quite awhile, laughing, jokin around and then went and played pool for awhile. Was very much fun. Got some great photos that I'm going to post. I definately need to do this more often.

This is my husband, Trapper and I. My friend Dora took this with her cell and posted it to fb for me. I wish the lighting was better but it's a bar lol

My friend Dora, I do believe she was racking and looked surprised when my husband took a photo of her lol

Best photo of the  night lol this is a friend of mine from my old job, Gary, was his b-day party. The guy behind him in the red is Ethan, someone else I used to work with. Dora told my husband "hey it looks like Ethan wants to dance" so my husband went over to Ethan to dance with him but Ethan go embarrassed so Gary and Trapper started dancing lol. Was so freakin hilarious. Mind you Gary is engaged, he does that tuck thing with his shirt all the time. I almost peed my pants taking this photo lol.

Fun times to be had by all who attended this part lol.

A New Year

I told a friend of mine I'd start my blogger back up same time as her and try  my  best to keep up to date. Didn't realize I hadn't posted in so long, been quite a while actually. Been a busy 2011. We found out we we're pregnant, due May 25th :) We also found out we're having a boy so we're gonna name Jace Edwin Schroeder. We had some losses last year though. We had decided to move to West Salem in October, the day we had decided to move in my daughter's dog was hit by a car in front of the new house, not how we wanted to start out. Shook up the family pretty good. I had quite taking photographs without realizing it until recently. Stuff did not pan out well at all in that house so after a month we moved out, couldn't take it anymore. We also lost a baby chinchilla while in that house. In the past weeks we lost another 2 chichillas, not sure why. We fed them correctly and everything. So we bleached the crap outta their new cage and the two left, Coal and Sparkles, are doing pretty good. We think maybe the mice in that last house gave them something that killed them. A few sad things, something super exciting all happened in past few months. Life happens I suppose, teach us lessons.

I started posting back to my 365 project with daily photos I've taking. Got myself caught up as of today. Gonna go get ready to go for a walk with a friend of mine in an hour so I'll write more tomorrow.
