Thursday

Well today is the time I finish up 2 reports and I am officially done with my classes. Wait, add 1 test to that and them I'm done and I will get my degree next week. I also have been talking to my admission counselor and I am starting a new degree the first week of January for an Associates in Medical Administration. Some might think I'm nuts but I am loving taking online classes and learning more about the medical field plus I think it'll give me more of an edge when applying for jobs. I'm pretty excited about it anyways and Trapper is behind me all the way, in a supportive way not in the way that some perverts are probably thinking right now as they read this, shame on you!! lol.

On another note, I am really going to miss being a Army wife when we arent in the military anymore come February. I really can't stand Colorado Springs or Fort Carson but I am going to miss driving around and seeing all the soldiers going about their business and seeing Army vehicles driving around post going to do some training of sorts, and I'm especially going to miss seeing Trapper in his ACU's. I won't miss washing them though, stupid velcro pockets lol. But I must say although I'll miss it, I am very, very glad to be going home soon. I miss our families more then I'll miss being here at Fort Carson. It's not as easy as people think to be a military spouse or even to be a soldier. Some people have a warped sense of what they think military spouses and soldiers go thru and they shouldn't talk until they've walked a mile in their shoes. It's  not an easy life but I wouldn't trade our experience or Trappers experience. He's very, very proud of what he did over thier when he was deployed. He will tell you hands down, that he would do it all over again. He tells me all the time that he saved lives and he knows he made a difference when he was over there and seeing as he's being medical retired cause of being over there I really can't ask more of him then to always be proud of himself for what he had to sacrifice and for how proud of himself that he is. I don't like that he got hurt and that he's still hurting but he looks at is as he's one of the lucky ones, that he got to come home in one piece to his family. My husband is and should be an inspiration to people. He went thru hell over there but he somehow through everything he's went thru and what he will always go thru the rest of his life he STILL has a positive outlook on life that just continuously surprises the hell outta me.

Now I gotta get started on those reports and test.
